Bale and a quarter would be tough to pick and come out, two bale you can afford to pick. We're looking at another machine for 18 and would have time after mid October. Would need more than a couple hundred acres though. Email in profile if you want to shoot me your number.
Eastern Harper Co here, 1.5 bale pretty good average for our area, although we did have one field of 3 bale cotton, all dryland here.
Local gin bought a picker late, think they may still be finishing up. That's the only picker I know of in our immediate area, could be some over east, but mostly strippers. Biggest problem thy had with the picker was getting somebody trained to run it, nobody knew much about it. Finally got a young local guy to commit and I think he did a fine job after a few fields under his belt.
