Subject: Lower Acres in Iowa.. shrunk to the Core better part?

"I’m a little surprised on the I State yields."

It wasn't a big reduction but total Corn Stocks in Iowa are Down..  21'ish myn bushels.. no big.. Acreage was down.. 600 k acres..

Guessing a slight uptick in yield to shrinkage of acres.. but still a pretty dang respectable yield across the whole state..

"Salute."

Take the 1.1 myn additional Soybean acres in Kansas.. Yields down 11 bu per acre.. Total Production DECLINED.. 189 myn vs 192 myn in 2016.. despite OVER a Million more acres..  We're not Iowa.

"golly we did our part."

probably gonna try sorghum this year.. ??

Dec 1st Hay stocks down to 86.4 myn tons vs 95.8 Dec 1st 2016..  Might need some more acres there.. Especially if it stays dry..
