Hook the positive clamp on the starter stud where the positive cable coming from the battery is bolted on then put the negative clamp on the negative battery terminal or a bolt head or something on the step/ frame and set charger on 12 volts
All correct except on a 4650 series JD DO NOT connect the negative jumper clamp to the left battery negative battery post, doing so would put a 12V boost across the left 6V battery and may cause a battery explosion. Ground the 12V jumper to engine or tractor chassis. |
