Hook the positive clamp on the starter stud where the positive cable coming from the battery is bolted on then put the negative clamp on the negative battery terminal or a bolt head or something on the step/ frame and set charger on 12 volts


Correct me if I'm wrong but I don't think grounding to the battery is a good idea unless you know how they are hooked up. Positive to the starter and negative to the frame or something, bad things could happen if you hook to the wrong negative battery post
