Big Sky Country
look like the Meyer's sweep meyer ditcher in Fairfield mt was making about 50 yrs ago.

most had the brace bars going to the teeth replaced by light chains. it let them float more when one hit a rock or whatever, lotsa people had them on buckrakes or farmhands mounted on reversed trucks and picked bales up @ speed.

chains would be better to load a wagon with, you could get the back right then give it a little too much 'tilt'. still be kinda touchy backing away from it and having bales stay. and there would be space between bales.
