I would have to look which I can do tomorrow. It just needs enough pressure to deliver enough fuel at max load.
I know we have a Mich Spec with 3406B and it had a filter before transfer pump and the standard one after transfer pump. Well when loaded the fuel pressure would drop off too much to maintain power. We used same filters on both bases. Put new filters and it might run 500 miles and same issue. Finally I had an idea. I installed just a water filter in front of transfer pump. That solved the problem. The push rod transfer pump on the B models are pretty weak compared to a gear pump IMO. | |
