Genoa City, WI | Just an agronomist for a private ag retailer. I'm not trying to be pushy about fungicides, just saw this thread and thought I'd contribute the results that I saw this fall.
All the fungicide work we did this summer was done by airplane, including the couple hundred acres of beans that we sprayed (results there were from 0-8 bushels difference...not as consistent as the corn results). We worked with Headline this year after our BASF rep that we already do a lot of business with convinced us to try it. We did have a few plots on soybeans with Syngenta's Quadris....I don't remember what those results were off the top of my head.
Interestingly, in my previous job, I did a lot of work in Will and Kankakee counties, and had a chunk of customers over in Cabery....I've probably driven past your farm at some point. And no, probably not related to the late, great General...maybe an extrememly distant cousin of some sort. | |
