I expect a big part of that is the joystick, control cables and valve. If you do not have a cab you can buy a two spool valve with a joystick mounted on it for a few hundred bucks from surplus center etc. The hoses will have to run to and from the valve so it would get sort of crowded getting them routed into the cab etc.

I did this on my open station 4320 a couple years ago. I used a power beyond spacer between the SCV and the rockshaft housing to tap into to supply the new valve and returned the oil through a ported hydraulic filter cover to keep it in the supply circuit for the front pump. This stopped a lot of chattering and improved cycle times. I have been told that running the loader from the SCV's like I did before should have returned the oil into the charge pump/filter/supply circuit but I must have had a bad leak because using the ported filter cover helped a lot.
