southern Alberta | I watched some of the pick-ups sell this morning. Prices perhaps were a little off, however with the way the oilfield has been the last 3 years, this equipment has all been run flatout by anyone with a pulse. It is hard to tell the condition of something from pictures of it. Prices will be higher tomorrow as I will be going to look at the trucks. The CPA sale in Calgary was complete junk this time. I think people were trying to cleanout the yard while some sucker may bid on this crap they had lying around. I was at the yard before the sale and decided to stay home on sale day. If you look at the results on the web, decent stuff brought decent money, junk got so many cents a pound. Our county is sending some Deere graders up to the next sale at CPA, I hope someone bids high, they just spent 30k on the hydraulic pumps on one of them. | |
