I bought my 4400 for $400. Used it for 2 years, put $600 if I remember right in repairs, and sold it for $800. Cornhead was something like 3x as much as combine. Only used it on corn-but harvested about 100 acres of corn for $2 an acre + fuel. That was a flat screen gasser so fuel was probably more than machine costs. | |
