I’ve always disliked those 4.5 engines. Not only are they a hard starter, they also have the $450 battery that gets so damn worn out trying to start that stupid engine. Gutless, hard starting POS.
I have an '08 6X30 tractor we bought new. Original battery is no problem in the 0°F weather we have been experiencing. The battery will be 10 yrs.old in May of '18. It's not at all hard to start.
