I've owned a late 6400, a 6410, and presently have two 6X30 tractors. The 6410 was the laziest on cranking speed, but it was never a big issue. If it gets to 20°F, I'll plug them in for an hour. Add 1/2 an hour of plug in time for every 5°F lower than 20°F, and they start like summer. Love every 4.5L I have. They have been very good to me.

To the OP, something is seriously wrong.
