| The electronic fuel system is very accurate, and if the engine, injectors, turbo, etc are in good condition, at full throttle, you will see about 235 PTO HP at 2000 engine RPM on an accurate dyno.
As you pull these models on down to 1300 RPM, which is peak torque, you don't usually see a big horsepower rise, but torque increases of 44% or slightly better are common.
I have seen a couple of "fluke" bone-stock MX270's dyno at around 280 PTO HP at 2000 engine RPM. This isn't supposed to happen. The owners darn sure didn't want us to fix the problem.
The 305's and 335's are very impressive on the dyno...when you pull them down to peak torque, that turbo is spinnin' & singin'. | |
