Hagen Brothers farms,Goodrich ND | I don't run machine brand hytran oil in any of my equipment, have not for 25 years and have had no problems.
I am careful to make sure the oil company brands I have used indicate on the container, that they meet or exceed. the hytran oil spec for my JD , Steiger and IH brand machinery.
No worry about mixing, because I have the same fluid in all of them.
Check the TSC fluid container to see if your machinery brand hydraulic / transmission oil spec is listed.
One line from a farm magazine oil story article sticks with me. It said,"an oil that EXCEEDS the spec is better than one that only MEETS that spec.", Look for those words,MEETS or EXCEEDS.
