Central Texas
Suggest getting custom grinder to grind the trash. Ground trash won’t bridge as badly. Most feedyards have it ground and use small % of trash in ration. Years ago have fed up to 10% unground trash in 3 auger Oswalt mixer mixing with silage but never tried a large % of gin trash. What % gin trash are you trying to do?
How much wear is on the auger flighting? Had a haybuster H1000 grinder that would plug up grinding hay or trash. Finally figured out flighting was too worn down to handle the volume. Possibly could be a factor in your situation.

Another possible solution would be to decrease % of trash in mix with ddg and limit feeding that to get the amount of ddg consumption you need then put additional free choice gin trash in hay rings. Maybe try mixing 1 bucket trash and 1 bucket ddg plus free choice trash in hay rings. That’s essentially what I’m doing feeding silage and trash without a mixer. I put out approximately 1/2 weeks desired silage consumption on trailer, feed desired protein supp daily with trip hopper and keep gin trash in hay rings. Lots of different ways to skin a cat.
