East River SoDak | Have a Meyers VB 560 manure spreader and had a 524 rotomix. I believe a 620 rotomix was the same height as ours only ours was lower on one side....anyway a non high lift loader was fine for loading that, filling our manure spreader, and loading bales off and on a flatbed (not dropdeck) semi trailer. Ours is a 26k lb machine...same as a 70 Volvo, 544 jd and 621 case. We have a 2 3/4 yard bucket but certainly could handle a 3 yd. For general ranch farm work I think it’s a nice size. I wouldn’t want to go lower and lose lift height and capacity and if you go bigger your next step up is about 40k lbs and that would be too big for running around and being in soft conditions. I wouldn’t be without a 3 rd valve to run our grabtech grapple and wouldnt be without ride control....we run around and stack bales with this in the summer time because it’s faster and more nimble than ANY farm tractor loader...I don’t care what brand or size you’re comparing it to
