1. Don't keep heifers out of the cow.
2. Yeah, that cow is more likely to do it again. I have seen plenty of cows that never do it again, and if they do, it isn't really lethal like a uterine. Scratching my head, don't think I have seen a cow die from a vaginal prolapse yet. I just wouldn't want to sell her with prices this cheap.
