East Central Saskatchewan | Interesting, how do you like that Bobcat V- handler? Couldn't swing the price for a new one at 160k :( Anyways, I have been sheep farming for a dozen years now and also running about 500 head. Busy for me now as I am lambing and pretty much up all day and all night, but I have gotten used to it though over the years. I do like your set up you have there. I have a couple barns that are insulated and such but can only use one as the other one is not yet finished. I do get problems with condensation on the roof though which is a downside. I assume you have your set up made so that you can switch from having lambing pens to going to a feedlot style barn for finishing? That seems like the most efficient way to do it now a days.
