Thanks for your concern. Our proven yields are used in the equation when the mmp is written, our mmp allows us to apply up to 5600 gal/acre on corn bean rotation. At 5k an acre we are well within the mmp, appreciate the input


Wow. What the heck are your proven yields? They'd have to be up in the mid 300's, or your MMP writer is using different utilization numbers for liquid hog manure.

It's your money, up to a point. Until our society says we can't put that level of nutrients out into the cropland and eventually the water, and then we all get to have more regulations.





Right in ballpark. Been a 20 year project so far from first barn built taking proven yields from 165 to
nearly double that. We also utilize cover crops and have switch grass buffer strips along creeks. Flame away but we seem to be visited by the dnr once a yr for an audit, have 4 sites, seems visit once per mmp validity of 4 yrs. not an issue to date, just another day anymore
