NEWI | We did exactly what you want to last year before we built a loafing barn. Had 80’ of bunk and filled a 20’ feeder wagon - filled both 2x a day. It seemed to help some with production because all cows had the ability to eat when they wanted.
Only downside was that ALL the cows wanted to eat out of the feeder wagon so ended up with more hard qtrs and some mastitis from the pushing.
