nw iowa | It is a 26' x 40' corn crib with overhead grainery and inside elevator to fill. Still store beans upstairs and park the bean head in the alley. Unfortunately the roof is starting to leak and like other things that have outlived their real usefulness it will probably not get fixed and will eventually see the wrecking ball, which brings a question. Does anyone take down old buildings "for the wood"? It would pain me to see all that lumber turn into btu's to heat the atmosphere. |
