Subject: RE: Grass Fed AND Grain Fed

SW South Dakota
We don't finish cattle, other than a few head each year for our own use and to sell some to family and friends. We always feed them ground corn for a month or two before butchering. We do about 10 pounds of grain per day and then they have access to hay or grass. This seems the best tasting to me. We tried just grass/hay fed and it didn't seem to have as good of flavor. I've been told ours would still be considered grass fed by most people because their diet is still primarily grass.
