Wanting to take calf fries to a dinner. Will need to let them stand 5 hours post cooking?? Afraid breaded and hot oil fried then sitting in crock pot for 5 hours will not be good for texture. Looking for options.... Maybe cut and pound in strips then cook / barbecue like either little smokies or cracked chicken... Any suggestions or things proven out by others? Thank you for thoughts
