There’s a huge push in the lamb industry to raise as much antibiotic free lamb that we can because of consumer demand. The “premium” or more money isn’t all there and what they tell us is it might become a new standard to raise antibiotic free lamb with no premium or incentive. They mentioned also you might get docked if you bring antibiotic lamb. Seems quite absurd to me because we all know when some animals get sick we have to treat but very concerning how the consumer is driving how we produce are livestock.
