Its worked out good, I don't have many head, only 15 so that makes things easier. I did Nebraska option in 2016 and had rye grazed that, planted 18 way mix grazed that in oct then went back to rye. Turned out really well, probably should of left it go and grazed weaned calves on the cover crop mix.
Since my rye grazing went away, here's my new solution
