Eastern Half of Kansas | It will work sometimes in grass, but alfalfa and straw no chance. We run 4 30” spikes for 3x3’s no issue ever in all conditions. What you describe is a round bale spear. I showed up to a new customer couple weeks ago, we’d breifly discussed what they had to unload, well it was what you had, it got them off trailer but I had to go back next day with my fork and I took theirs home to weld more 30” spikes in. I’ll look but don’t think we have photo of what we’re making.
