Injectors were replaced a couple years (and very few miles) ago. We only pull it when it's cold. It went in the shop recently for various 'upkeep' such as an air compressor line, and when it was time to leave it would not crank at all. After I let our budding mechanic waste several hours 'diagnosing' everything 'for drill,' I instructed him to just run a two conductor wire to the cab and put a push button in. This process resulted in the little terminal on the solenoid twisting off, resulting in a new solenoid, and now with this and a pair of batteries it actually starts pretty nicely. I wish this truck had 200k less miles and had lived it's first life a few degrees lower in latitude and it had air brakes and it would be a nice service truck. Oh, and it would be nice if it were a Navistar or Ford instead of a GMC, and it had an allison instead of the 6 speed, and a DT instead of the 3116. Other then that it's a nice truck. Oh, and a new bed would be nice. Maybe a different crane.....
