I agree.
It's no problem with one bale, but with a 3 or 4 spear you can carry 2-4 high and not pull through. Also when stacking high it's very tough to see that high, works better to lift a stack of two up high, and the top bale adds weight to the lower one makes it easier to remove the spear.
