Plowboy, Is this the service truck that you pull to get it started??? So the rpms get spinning faster. Sounds like your injectors may be worn out. I know one of our heavy equipment "fuel systems" mechanics tells me that excavators with lots of hours and/or dirty fuel need a full set of injectors on 3116 engines to cure those "hard starting" problems. Usually, on trucks, we only have to put in a full set IF coolant or gasoline gets mixed with the diesel fuel and ruins the injectors.
