Dalton, OH | I’ve already looked at that. Couple issues, most of my customers don’t want this short of balage, just a few. The customers requesting this short cut length don’t decide what they want until,they see my inventory and hay tests after the hay is bales and wrapped. Secondly, I have talked with Krone engineers about the pre-chop attachment and they have suggested against me using it for balage. It was really only designed and tested for straw. If I knew which hay the customer wanted before baling, it would be easier to just have it chopped and bagged for the customer. That would be the most ideal and cost effective solution. | |
