Subject: RE: feeding cull cows

West Central Nebraska - Sandhills
Just curious but I’ve always read to turn a profit on cull Cows you have to jump them up a carcass grade by turning the yellow fat to white fat and that can take 90 to 120 days . When you were selling them in 60 to 90 will they be white fat at the point? Have you seen what the carcasses were graded when you take them in? Just curious as I’ve never fed them on a large scale.
