Long term, we are screwed.
The financialization has benefitted the few at the cost of the many.
Exponential debt growth is not sustainable. The crisis of 2007/2008 was wall papered over rotten structure and mold. It was not a fix, but instead a delay. A "kick the can down the road". The end of the road is getting nearer and the can is crumpled.
