 Hazelridge, Mb | I kinda had your problem, bought a new printer because the old deskjet died. New printer only has a USB connection. Thought I could get a adapter to fit but couldn't. Also found out from DTN support that new printers made these days (ie USB only) can only support windows based programming. Printers that have parallel port could support windows and DOS based programming. Since DTN are built on DOS programming, they cannot operate with USB printers.
I might need to pull out the old pin wheel printer from 20 years ago to print from my DTN or go to DTN Web based service. | |
