N.E. MT | We run a 2010 krone bigx1000. Everyone I asked told me not to buy it, I did anyway. Ours has been a standup machine. We have put around 1000hrs on it 200/yr it cuts like mad and hasn't been problematic at all. 2500 total cutter hours at this point. Seal on the main gearbox isn't to bad or expensive to change. I wouldn't be to scared of the codes and there's a pretty good learning curve but the machine itself has a pretty good on board diagnostic system. No need to pay the dealer to come tell you what is going on with it. Everything on the machine has a sensor I spent a day fixing a few wires on ours and have only 2 now. Parts have been pretty good overall i try to keep lots of wear parts around, they are expensive but not any worse then deere or new holland. So far we have been able to get everything we need in two days. Some things took longer but were pm type things. Plan to put ours in and set the valves this winter but ours has ran and started perfectly so far. | |
