Brookville, Ohio | I misspoke there a bit. I was saying switch, when what I meant was the solenoid. I replaced the solenoid, already. I'm not sure where everything runs to find what sends the signal to the solenoid to shoot the juice to the heater. I can use a manual switch across the top of the solenoid, which does seem to get the heater to work (truck starts easier, but still puffs the white smoke). So I think my problem is in front of the solenoid somewhere. Whatever is supposed to be telling it to work is not doing it's job. When I turn the key, I don't even get the wait to start light.
This is in a 95 Kodiak, and I wasn't sure if maybe someone else on here had maybe run across this problem, and could help guide me in the right direction. | |
