I've read each and every reply. Every single one had very good points/thoughts/real life experiences. Except the post from the guy who thinks low church attendance is a good thing. Not that I'm a real regular in the front pew, but I sure respect the folks who do go regularly. On average, they are far more upstanding folks in my community those those who never attend. I've been married for 36 years to someone better than I deserve. She gave me three kids I can't imagine life without any of them. I feel sorry sometimes for the good single guys who never got to enjoy watching their own children grow up. We've been empty nesters now for eight years. But now have five terrific grandkids, and love them all so much. All that being said, I am the first to realize times are different now, and it's really a shame. WyDaves post was very profound. If I were in my twenties, and had someone explain things in that way today, I guess I probably would remain single too. I guess I just got lucky, so far anyway.
