Bremen, KS		Statistically these days, once a man reaches the age of 35, the chances of him marrying for the first time drop considerably. I think there are many reasons for that as he has only divorcees or women who just aren't marriage material in his age group, a situation that worsens with each passing year. Also, his personal wealth is building at a rapid rate and he sees what has happened to friends and family being run through the family court wringer and becomes rather suspicious of sudden female interest in him whereas he was nearly invisible just a few years before. On the one hand it doesn't add up and on the other it makes perfect sense as he begins to understand that he is a mark to be fleeced by some woman and the divorce industry. Such men are wise to go their own way in life.

Thankfully, the social stigma against living alone for both men and women has all but disappeared over the past several decades. I think this has been a net benefit to the happiness and well being of a lot of people.
