Subject: RE: Information On A Land Roller

North Central Iowa

For what it's worth, I rented a Riteway last year and the guy I rented if from also has other brands, including Degelman.  He said that the Riteway follows the ground contours better and he had pictures at his farm show booth showing what the problem was with the others when you got into an area with a ridge or draw.  The highest point will hold an entire roller (section) up if it's in the right place.  Just a thought, and maybe some other brands are as good or better.  I will say that I liked it enough that I'm planning to do it again this year.  I used a 60' because that's what he had available at the time, and it will take either a large MFWD or smaller 4wd at least to run a Riteway that size if the field is not totally flat.  The guy I rented from rents them out for $3 and acre and I talked to one other place that was the same.

HTH,

Mike
