Yep, check the position sensor under the nose. Could be corroded like others said, broken wire harness, or just loose. Pot low val indicates its out of range on the low side. Pot could be turned too far one way. Or it's trying to raise during the calibration and the position value is not changing so it fails the calibration. This could mean a failed accumulator.

Unlikely there is a bad controller.
