| I see a lot of Parker vises on Craigslist too that are good. Smaller vises all cast construction around $150. Check the condition of the jaws. Even though they can be replaced, it's extra time and money. Find one with good sharp jaws. I've been looking for a 6" vise for three years, never found one for less than $700. Finally got a buy last week, was $300. It's a Rigid brand, back when they made good ones. It came out of the Esco foundry in Portland when they closed it. Used hard but still in good shape. With stand it weighs about 450 lbs. | |
