SW MN | Have been pulled over by the IA DOT on a few occasions...In there eyes your a semi, doesn't matter..I've been asked for log books even...This is a newer 36ft Wilson trailer and a 2014 1 ton, lights, tires everything all good on it..Think they like the outta state plates..And you are legally soposed to stop at the scales, I believe anything over 16,000 lbs combined weight...Have heard of guys going past and getting chased down...I doubt you'll have any troubles, I wouldn't ask for any tho either...You should be fine | |
