300 lb heifers straight off of cow I feed as-700 for the first 3 weeks. On arrival I gave infot3 one shot bvd and a blackleg shot. Also pi tested and gave a shot of micotol. Everything looked good for about two weeks and then they started getting sick with pneumonia. I feed a sweet feed and grass hay try to get them on grass quick as I can
Are you giving any booster shots.
My opinion, but giving a killed virus, with a modified live booster would work better on those lighter calves. |
