Yep..Tim is a helluv a good parts guy and Jim is the mechanic that cut my deck plates back. I would try the deck modifications before spending money on new spirals. I think you will be surprised at the difference. Did they say if "Mother Case" is aware of the deck plate modification or strictly their own fix? Has your dealer heard of this simple fix????
