Southern Indiana | Replacement heifers are wormed, get virashield 6+vl5hb, pinkeye and 1 month later boostered. In spring cows get wormed, virashield 6+vl5hb booster, pinkeye and fly tags. Calves get virashield 6, ultrabac 7, pinkeye, wormed and fly tagged. Bulls are banded and implanted. Ralgro if it's available. In fall steers are implanted and all calves get virashield 6, ultrabac 7 and wormed. Cows get wormed, preg checked and scour bos vaccine. This spring may go to Long-range wormer and skip fly tags. Pricey, but people say it cuts down on flys and was always suspicious how much good fly tags do. I think backrubbers with the face flips that hang down are very effective. | |
