Talk to us about your dealer and where he got the templates. Been fighting a 4408 for 5 years. I actually  added onto deck plates and that helped, but still have trouble in corn that is not quite as good as it should be such as hailed on or not enough moisture so cobs are smaller. That has been my contention that the deck plates are to far ahead of the rollers. Ears get stuck in there and block the path.
