The Green Hills of Missouri | There is a product called Avitrol that you mix with ground feed and put in the rafters on a sheet of tin. It works good till they figure out that is what's killing the buddy's and stop eating it. Also difficult to get them to eat it if there's livestock feed around.
I was given a wood sided box with wire on the outside and a dump trap in one corner that works great for small areas like the chicken house. You just bait it with ground corn and the buggers go in the hole and get dumped into the lower portion to die.
There is an electronic call with different bird screams on a sd card that works good on sparrows but starlings pay no attention to it.
You are not the only one with this problem as you can see!
Good luck. |
