East Central, IA | I'd highly recommend a poured pad underneath. I have a customer who had one on a gravel pad. They filled it for years like that. This past spring they were filling it when the ground was soft. They laid the bin over and crushed/severely injured a young man who was working for them. I think they had been driving past it with tractors/feed equipment and the ruts filled with water and made it softer there than it usually was. | |
