Culbertson, MT | Dad bought this 6600 new in ‘95. Has been fairly trouble free. Some joints, tires, hammers. Got to rebuild 1 roller- early models have a keyed shaft for hydraulic motor drive, later have splines. Hate to think how many bales have been thru it, would hate to be without it. I’m convinced beyond doubt it saves feed. Would sure be hard to shell out for a new one, though. Get a hot knife to get wrap off the rollers. Cut wrap on bale, throw over, flop bale into tub, then pull it off. Then ya don’t have to use the hot knife so much!
