Back in February I knew of a market that was selling 500# steers for 110cwt. After a couple of weeks the market increased and I was left wishing that we had purchased some of them.
Always easy to see what could have been a wiser decision after the fact.
Haven't checked today's results, but last 4 sales at local barn have had 8-9 weight steers breaking $205, nobody up here saw it coming by a long shot. Will be interesting to see where rail prices are 3-4 months from now. |
