As in sell the dairy herd and raise calves.
Yes, why wouldn't it be possible? Butttt. Say you get to 100 calves. And make $100 a head. There's $10,000...for the year.
That's why most guys who got out of dairy around here and thought they'd switch to beef never stayed at it. The money is peanuts and you don't get a monthly cheque.
